How Isaac Vanished is a true story. A sick young man made a surprise visit to the Netherlands. There he was going to spend three weeks with his buddy, who had made it her task to mentally support him. Unfortunately, he ended up in the hospital, where for two weeks, they feared for his life. However, his fighting spirit and the support of his buddy, her family and his new friends pulled him through. The stay in the hospital was the final turning point in his life. After almost two months in the Netherlands, he returned to South Africa. Seven months later, he died at the age of 37. Isaac was HIV-positive.
