Education for Renaissance in Africa- Large Format

This book aims at contributing to a vision of African Renaissance articulated by President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa, the successor of the illustrious son of Africa, Nelson Mandela. As part of that vision the book emphasizes the need for educational institutions in general and Africa in particular to enhance the student attainment of the values of liberation, creativity and a form of social consciousness that is directed toward the improvement of the human condition in Africa and in the interdependent global community.
