Description

The works in Takeout, Soul Food cover a range of topics including God, angels, life after death, the spirit world, ghosts, reincarnation, animal totems, dreams, life in general, death and dying, and of course, love. These topics have always fascinated me. I am always writing as I enjoy it very much, and the people who have seen it have suggested that I should try and get it in print. I have learned how precious life is and how quickly it can be snuffed out. I believe we are all sinners and saints, and that we are all one. In that, I mean we are all a part of God. I believe today's world is operating in fear, and until we change this to begin operating out of love, I am afraid things will go from bad to worse. I also believe that some of these poems come from a higher place than the windmills of my mind. I think we all have spirit guides, or guardian angels, if you like, that watch over and direct our daily lives. Finally, I would like to thank God in all His infinite wisdom for the inspiration to write this work.
