The Cavaliers in the Subway

Five men—a CEO of a flourishing software company, a Vietnam veteran from West Point, a successful painter, a popular journalist, and a young banker—meet on the Internet and chat for six months. Among them there seems no apparent similarity, yet they call each other "Brother." On Halloween day, dressed in black, they all meet in New York at the subway station on 125th Street, determined to be declared "Cavaliers" by a priest. Before carrying out the ritual which they believe will unite them with a higher spirit, "The Master," each has to tell the fatal story of his life that has driven him to such a passionate decision.
