In 1979, a 19 year old guitar player from Los Angeles named Robert LaFond had the opportunity to study guitar with one of his favorite local guitarists; Randy Rhoads. At the time, Rhoads was splitting his time between teaching during the day and performing at night with his band Quiet Riot. LaFond studied with Randy at the Musonia School of Music for about 1 year.
