The story of "FATE'S TRAIL" is a novel about a modern day western adventure. Sonny, an albino stallion, whose unbeknown fate found him on a cattle trailer filled with cows and going off to slaughter. Charles, a rancher that was hauling Sonny off to South Texas. Gina, a divorced writer and a guiltridden mother of a teenage son. Jeff, Gina's son, troubled by his parents divorce and his father's recent death. Jennifer, a young girl that loses her life while riding on Sonny. Big Jim, Jennifer's bereaved father, who has an emotional breakdown and almost destroys himself. Wendy, a young woman rancher who has taken over the responsibility of the Lazy K ranch. Gramps, Wendy's grandfather.
