Cogitation from the Village Idiot

A collection of poems written by Nathan Israel Beck as a soldier in the U.S. Army during his late teens and early twenties. Poem subjects vary; many are patriotic and explain the different thoughts of many and most soldiers. The author grew up heavily influenced by classic poets, and only found the joy of poetry in the range, meter, and rhyme that make poetry so beautiful to the ear and to the tongue.
