Condo

Condo is by turns funny, sad, poignant and profound. Each poem within the poem sequence tells a tale of joy or suffering in a brief distillation that captures a lifetime in a stanza. The voices range from doddering bewilderment to serenely happy to frankly sexual. The wonder and the mystery of life, the wisdom or confusion that comes with age, the voices of the usually voiceless all ring clear and distinct and powerful at last. And the Condo where all these aged to perfection voices reside forms a resonating amphitheatre for their songs.
