Potter Sachs always aspired to be a Major League baseball player and it seemed destined that he would do just that...until injuries and his personal life became major roadblocks on the road to his dreams. Shooting Star picks up Potter's life just as he is about to overcome all the obstacles once and for all and make his dreams a reality by playing in the Major Leagues.
