Shell Game

Mars has a thriving manufacturing and business colony. Electric sleds fire pallets of cheap manufactured goods into space. About six months later orbital freighters outfit the sleds with mega-chutes and drop them down to landing zones. All the big retailers love the operation. Metals and materials from asteroids and really cheap labor. There's only one problem: People on Mars are going insane.
