The Brave Tin Soldier (American Antiquarian Society)

This classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale was first published in Copenhagen in 1838. The story of a one-legged tin soldier and his love for a paper ballerina was originally published in this beautifully illustrated edition circa 1895 by McLoughlin Brothers of New York.
