LA HISTORIETA (The Storyteller): A Children's Story About Early Texas

Masterfully adds what has been left out of Texas History by weaving Tejano contributions into the story of Texas.

Tejano families have passed down stories from Abuelita to mama (grandmother to mother), for many generations. This children's story is one of those stories. It tells of a group of people who played a very important part in the making of Texas as narrated by the storyteller, known to children as La Historieta. This is about Tejanos (Mexican-American Texans).
