Land Animals: Level 6 (Mathematics Readers) (Algebra and Algebraic Thinking)

This reader focuses on land animals and their habitats to teach students how to create and solve linear equations. Students will determine the speeds of some of the worlds fastest animals and calculate their heart rates. They will also look at the populations of various animals in an ecosystem and calculate trends in population growth and decline using linear equations.
