The Devil You Know

Nicholas Grenier is back and facing a new killer who has a specific type of victim in mind. As Grenier comes to terms with the consequences of his first case and his own past, a new psychopath emerges upon the scene, leaving a trail of blood in his wake. While trying to find his place as a detective after being forced to investigate The Nemesis case, Detective Grenier soon finds himself in a new homicide investigation following the gruesome murder of a priest. As Grenier follows the case from one dead body to the next, the detective finds that to solve this case, he must put himself in the shoes of the victim and the mind of a killer. The Devil You Know will take the reader beyond the investigation of a multiple-victim murder and put you into the psychopathic mind of a killer. To capture this monster, Grenier will team up with a new detective and together they will have to use all of the resources available to them to track down and stop this madman. This killer will blur the lines between victim and murderer, good and evil, love and hate; and test the detective's loyalty to his career, to his friends, and ultimately to himself. With overwhelming motive pointing in all directions, our detective will have to examine everything, realizing that sometimes it is the person you least expect who can be the most dangerous.
