At present, the world has many social injustices and inequalities that exist not only in the United States but also within the world at large in this our twenty-first century. One such inequality is the discrimination against the ten percent of the population who courageously battle mental illness. In this contemporary fiction romance, Cherie has decided she will join the ranks of others and fight for the right to become equally treated regarding individuals affected by brain disorders. She has suffered in silence and been subjected to hidden prejudice against her and others like her all her life, and now after decades of indifference on the part of individuals in positions of power, she has decided to campaign and take a stand not only for herself but future generations too. During the course of her journey, she meets Alan, a powerful senator?s aide. He finds himself attracted to her feisty nature, and decides to champion her cause.
