The Moscow Subway (1939): The Story of the Mosow Subway Lines

In 1931, the Soviet Government passed a decision to build a network of subway lines in Moscow of a total length of 155 miles. The decision provided for the building of the first 46.5 miles of subway lines within fifteen years.
