It can be murder living in Silicon Valley. The well-polished stay busy keeping up appearances while they try not to get polished off. And the less well-buffed are looking over their shoulders too. Jill Tocatti, a community college instructor who works in San Francisco and lives on the edge of a posh Silicon Valley school district, searches for the suddently missing mother of her young son's classmate. But Jill unknowingly triggers others to seek her out, and their intentions are not so noble. It's all quite exhausting, really. Having it all is what everybody wants, so somebody's got to lose. Some their lives.
