The Astro-Bible According to John: OR God's Creation of the Universe OR The Whole Shebang Without the Big Bang

This book has four lectures on astrotheology, the impact of astrology and astronomy on the Bible. The author gave these lectures at a retirement home near Stanford University. To give them, he had to threaten the retirement home and its lecture committee with a lawsuit involving elder abuse.

The first lecture turned into a diatribe against the lecture committee and never got close to the subject. The second lecture did a bit better, though the very first sentence of the speaker was challenged by someone in the audience and then discussed almost endlessly. In the third and fourth lectures, the speaker offered what was promised--an analysis of God's original and perfect solar system and universe compared to the cursed ones we now have. Fact, fancy, and fun are interwoven throughout the talks. It's up to the reader to sort them out.
