50 Ways We Can Improve Our Country

Our political system today is badly in need of repair many experts claim, and all across the country we are hearing the repeated refrain that we need to change the way that Washington works. First and foremost is the need to have a vibrant economy that is able create strong economic growth, along with fiscal restraint so we don't waste taxpayers' money.

But there are many other areas of our government that need attending to and where new approaches are called for. This includes such issues as affordable universal health care, providing pensions for all workers, developing new energy resources, reforming our farm program, significantly reducing homelessness and poverty in the nation, expanding our service corps, improving our educational system, fixing our infrastructure; and perhaps most important of all, creating a new foreign policy that is more in line with the vision of the founders of this country.
