Do we want God to continue being a meaningful reality in our world? If so, we must find a way to discern God in and through the discoveries of modern science. Continuing to rely solely on the religious traditions of the past is not a viable long-term strategy for keeping God alive and well in our culture. As The Nazarene himself might say: You don't pour new wine into old skins.
