When 13-year-old Jude "accidentally" finds his birth certificate in his mother's underwear drawer, his world is turned upside down. He knew he was adopted, but the birth certificate reveals something he could never have imagined in his wildest dreams. Jude has a blood family nearby-and not just a blood family, a blood relative who is as close as close can get. The document leads to a journey back in time, or so it seems to Jude.
