Retribution for Acts of Terrorism: A Mystery in Aspen, Colorado

Dr. Jack Simpson, a prominent cardiologist at the Aspen Valley Hospital, is facing a controversial malpractice lawsuit involving accountant, Sam Kahn. Sam Kahn works in the back office of a Manhattan-based hedge fund that trades predominantly in oil futures. He discovers an irregularity in the hedge fund's trading techniques and, consequently, drama begins to unfold.

Meanwhile, the Aspen Valley Hospital administrator, Kathy Ellington, and Dr. Simpson's close friend, Dr. Ed Harris, attempt to assist Dr. Simpson. The couple gets involved not only romantically, but along with local detective, Harry McNally, and find themselves swept into a world of murder, Islamic terrorism, and financial intrigue.
