Amelia: The Aviatrix

The focus of this book is on the life of Amelia Earhart rather than her disappearance. This book provides a clear insight of how Amelia lived and how she went about setting many aviation records including the first women's air race. Amelia loved life away from aviation and wanted to live a full life in the mountains of Wyoming so she planned one last flight around the world. However; during the planning of this flight she came to believe those closest to her were putting her in danger for their own personal gain. She was being forced to fly a spy mission over the Marshall Islands for the US Navy. Not wanting to fly this mission, she put together a secret plan of her own. This book describes her final flight as well as how she disappeared.
