This is not a scientific text of any kind. It is mainly a collection of ideas I have compiled over the years. People say that discussing certain subjects never leads to a good conclusion; or that there is a way to thrash them out without coming to an agreement. I think that every subject should be open to debate and that every discussion, if conducted in a bona fide manner, should be enriching and uplifting. Everyone participating in a debate should, after the experience, feel closer to the truth. After all, our differences only reflect our humanity-that we all come from different parts of the world, different backgrounds, and have different belief systems. I only hope that we can recognize that we are more alike than we are different.
