Get Real! 2: A Reality Project for Teenagers Part Two

ALL teenagers need to be encouraged and aided to think seriously about the realities of their futures. Get Real! is a powerfully important project created by a teacher who wanted to help students begin to build realistic pictures of their lives. By using actual facts, rather than ideals or outdated information from well-meaning adults in their lives, student think and learn about: what their priorities are and should be, how they'd like to spend their years in the work force, whether or not they want to attend college, what skills would be required of them in college and at work, and even whether or not they'd like to marry and/or have children. Get Real! is designed to empower students to be in control of their learning and ultimately their lives by teaching HOW to learn, HOW to be powerful thinkers, HOW to be better communicators in all ways, HOW to research, HOW to read insightfully and efficiently.
