When New York City attorney Johnson Denmore walks into a cozy little restaurant in South Carolina, he's looking for a hot meal and directions to his new client's home. He finds himself out of his comfort zone and into the arms of beautiful yet vulnerable owner Karen Cook. With a restaurant to run and a five-year-old son to raise, Karen hardly has time for romance. Yet it seems a romance is in the works…until Karen's ex-husband returns with a manipulative new wife and less than noble intentions and Karen and Johnson must fight more than a geographic distance.
