Know thyself: Philosophical Essays

“Know Thyself” (know yourself) was inscribed in the pronaos (forecourt) of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. It is a call to awaken personal self-awareness, gain self-knowledge and understand oneself as an individual. Now, 2500 years later, “Know Yourself” is an appeal to humanity as a whole to become self-aware and comprehend itself as a “living organism”, realising we all are in one boat.
