UMOP 39: Papers in Pragmatics

This volume contains a collection of papers on formal pragmatics, including both theoretical and experimental work. The papers cover a variety of topics representative of current research in the field. Questions, scalar implicatures, imperatives, epithets, discourse particles and focus are amongst the topics dealt with in the volume.
