The Gutenberg Gambit: The Second Adventure from the Biblio Files

Hovering over her lifeless body, Becky Biblio watches as her friends and family try to revive her. A strange man tells her she has to go back-she and her twin, Tom, are the "Keepers of the Book." A gambit is offered, and sacrifices are made. The twins, who are able to communicate with each other telepathically, are torn between cashing in their half-million-dollar treasure from their last adventure and solving a multi-stage puzzle to return it to its rightful owner. To do so, these seventh graders will have to travel all over New York City, from Grace Church and Central Park to the New York Public Library, in order to collect chess pieces and clues. To crack the code and complete the puzzle, Tom and Becky join forces with their Uncle Klepto and their nemesis Norton in order to unlock the secrets of the wooden chest. What's inside of it?
