The Enablers

The Enablers have gained access to Earth through an inter-dimensional rift created by a failed military experiment to shift space-time. The alien life force feed on the human emotions of avarice and greed. The increasing presence of alien energy becomes a potentially destructive force that threatens to destroy the universe. Detective Johnny Blunt and scientist Dr. Hugh Witten find themselves working opposite sides of a crisis that brings them together in an unlikely partnership. They decide that they work better together than alone. These disparate characters develop a lasting friendship as they determine to change the unsatisfactory circumstances of their lives as they become exposed to a wider world by the case they are drawn into. Detective Blunt chases down a stolen manuscript while Dr. Witten leads the global effort to save the planet from destruction.
