In every century a force for evil emerges along with it's counterpart for good. From the beginning of time, it has been so. Two babies are born at the same moment in time, a world apart in distance, as well as, purpose. When a car accident takes the life of the young mother, Darci, she realizes that she still exists in the world that is between Heaven and Earth. She learns from those that have gone before her that she is to protect the life of her baby daughter, Cami, from the one sent to harm her. She must see that her child grows in the special gifts that Cami has received. The struggles of normal life create problems of their own as Cami's father, Ken, meets stranded Alicia and her daughter, Becky, and invites them to stay at his home. But, when the dark and evil man appears, life is anything but normal for those he chooses. As Cami grows so does the little prince in the desert that she and Becky call, Lester.
