Thur's Utopia

Dennis Byers was a spectacularly popular politician, and President of the US, but an unfortunate accident caused him frontal lobe damage, giving him sadistic tendencies. His massive influence allowed him to take control of all of America through bribery, blackmail, his incredible former popularity (a façade he continued until he accomplished this first goal), and even torture. He proceeded to change his name to Thur and declare war on each country in turn, eventually taking over the world. He now resides in a massive white obelisk-"The Needle"-from which he watches, and gains pleasure from, the unimaginable suffering he creates for his people. One man, Alfred Gould, is brave enough to rebel against Thur's authoritarian rule. He and his accomplices, Angela and Lucas, travel miles across the barren, war-torn, disease-ridden landscape to infiltrate Thur's seemingly impenetrable fortress and end his reign of terror forever...
