The Unofficial U.S. Army Field Guide to Belfast 1942

Belfast 1942. Troubled times. The Brits are shipping out. Green Yanks are shipping in. The IRA smells opportunity. But an "easy" arms hijacking goes wrong, death resulting. Army intelligence Major Amos Burke investigates and quickly uncovers the IRA's inside information source, Boston-born U.S. Army Sergeant Jimmy Scanlon. Scanlon is in shock, horrified by what his cooperation has led to. Burke wants to see Jimmy hang. But IRA hard men kidnap Claire Stiles, Burke's new Belfast-bred fiancée, as a bargaining chip.
