Santa Rosa, A Route 66 Gem: A Postcard Pictorial

This is a postcard pictorial of Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Santa Rosa was once a prospering small community located on U.S. Highway 66, better known as Route 66. Today Interstate 40, which replaced Route 66, passes through the center of town. This book has over a hundred pages and covers the period from about 1905 to 1970. Nearly the entire book is composed of picture postcards with captions and is a feast for anyone's eyes, especially those interested in New Mexico history and in the golden days of Route 66.
