The Seeds of Derbe: The Missionary Journeys

The Seeds of Derbe is a multilayered story set in the 1st century Galatian town of Derbe (modern-day Central Turkey). In the midst of the Apostle Paul's first missionary journey, he and his companion Barnabas reach the town of Derbe after an unsuccessful and ultimately life-threatening stay in the town of Lystra. Drawing on the Biblical Book of Acts, Chapter 14, verses 19-21, Paul's establishment of the Church in Derbe is the center of a tale involving mystery, murder and the influence of an ancient cult.
