The peninsula of Mount Athos - the equivalent of Mecca or Vatican for Orthodox Christians has been secluded for a thousand years to preserve peace and stability for it's monastic inhabitants No women are allowed to enter Mount Athos and only a small number of male pilgrims is admitted. The author driven by a lifelong interest in both spirituality and photography made the pilgrimage and brought back pieces of the wonderful place for all to admire and enjoy.
