She loves a good challenge and rarely gives up. So when she is given the opportunity to uncover a mystifying secret, she instantly takes it. Milo is a shy, timid boy who likes to go to the library. He loves a good math question but has a bully problem. So when Alexis offers him the chance to set off on a risky voyage, he can’t refuse. Along the way, the two kids meet some interesting people, discover new mysteries, and get into trouble occasionally. Alexis and Milo are in for much more than they initially expect (which could also be true in your case) and have to rely on their brains and daring determination to push them forward. Oh, and there’s a compass in there somewhere too.
