Munna's People

A collection of short stories revolves around the young girl Munna and the people near to her in the present and the past, from a small poor rural village in Trinidad. The time is the end of the colonial period of Trinidad's history, the place is an agricultural village in a time full of hope and tragedy and tradition struggling to cope with a new era. Munna and her people fight against the traditional and the unknown to find a place of honour in the rapidly changing Trinidad, often with comic results.
