Description

In the year 2012, Memphis, Tennessee, like many cities, is experiencing a swell of white collar crimes ranging from illlegal sales of artificial body parts to kick-back payments to directors of geriatric retirement centers for referrals to behavioral health centers under the general guise of behavioral health problems. New mayor Harper Quinn believes in hiring white collar cops to police the underbelly of this high volume arena of activity involving medical personnel more than legal, etc. Using a Federal grant of 50 million dolllars, Quinn invites, interviews, hires, and trains four physicians and one dentist. These hand-picked " doctor detectives" are trained in bite mark analysis, genetic sampling, investigative techniques, martial arts and the use of all levels of firearms. Jonathan Ross, D.D.S. is a reluctant participant at first. He joins this team of super heroes to salvage what's left of a professional life which is all but over. Little does he know that he will become the leader of the medical team, providing skills that he never knew existed.. They are all given the use of high-end muscle cars to enhance popularity of these newly-decorated law officers. Quinn did not fall upon this plan accidentally. He is a graduate of the Greater New York City Police Academy. Quinn takes the two primary expectations of the office seriously: 1. To protect the citizens and 2. to provide clean and affordable utilities . In his way of thinking preservation of law enforcement officers and citizens is at least as important as clean water.
