As he walked through the lush countryside, he felt as though he was almost there. He tingled with anticipation as he took each step. Which turn in the path would reward his quest? Then he saw it. A scene so breathtaking that for a moment he could only stand in awed silence. Before him stood "shimmering towers like the finest spun glass, it was the crystalline palace, a gleaming edifice of the highest class." Why had he been driven unceasingly till he finally arrived here? What grand secret must this resplendent palace hold? He knew that after he entered, his life would never be the same. So thought the main character of the story as he traveled on a lengthy dream journey to quell the burning question that drove him relentlessly.
