Sarah Montz became interested in Autism when her three-year-old son was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified. While researching the Autism Spectrum, Sarah found the information to be overwhelming. She struggled with a sense of failure and loneliness in a judgmental world. In her first book, Our Wild Card - A Parent's Perspective of Pervasive Developmental Disorder on the Autism Spectrum, Sarah explains the roller coaster of ups and downs her family has experienced since Autism has entered their lives. She hopes the story of her family's Autism journey will provide comfort to those with similar struggles.

Sarah Montz attended Park University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in business management. She resides in a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, with her husband, three children, mom, and a keeshonden.
