Catholic Spiritual Mass and Spiritual Communion: Mass and Communion for those not able to get to Church

For those Catholics unable to get to Mass or Liturgy of the Word the Spiritual Mass might be the answer. Many are physically unable to get out of their house or nursing home. Some live in such remote areas there is no Church within 100 miles. Some are confined in prison or other institutions. Some are on life support equipment. Some are simply old and poor and have no means to get to Church. Whatever the reason there is a way for them to join a community at Mass - spiritually - and share in the greatest of all God's gifts God. Even communion is possible spiritually and confirmed by St. Thomas Aquinas along with many others. This is not a way to avoid attending Mass physically but for those who simply can't attend at all. But it is also for those who temporarily cannot attend mass due to illness, accident, surgery or travel. So the Spiritual Mass and Spiritual Communion is for all Catholics.
