Desperate Journey: A Novel of Pioneer Days

Desperate Journey is a novel of the frontier days in the raw and uncivilized frontier country of what would become East Tennessee and SSW Virginia. Two young pioneer women, captured by raiding Indians, undergo hazards and deprivation in their efforts to escape the fate of slavery and make their way back over the uncharted wilderness to their homes.
