Death of a Chameleon

David Gibson is a complex character.He can be a bully at work as depute head of a comprehensive school in Glasgow but at home with his wife, Caroline he is a lamb, doing most of the chores and getting no thanks. Caroline embarks on an affair, secure in the knowledge that David is always going to be there for her...at least, that is, until he is found murdered in his room at school. Charles Davenport and his team start their investigations but before the killer is discovered, another murder takes place in the school. Who has got rid of David? Is it his wife's lover, an angry parent,a belittled member of staff or maybe a pupil? Why has the murderer struck again? Davenport, supported by his staff, DC Fiona Macdonald, Sergent Salma Din and Constables Penny Price and Frank Selby, is very anxious to make an arrest before yet another member of staff is removed permanently.
