Since Kael was enlisted those many months ago, he has accomplished so much, like befriending the mighty dragon Shatterbreath and uncovering King Morrindale’s dastardly plot. But the true test is yet to come. Kael has convinced Arnoth to join his cause, but their numbers alone won’t stop the BlackHound Empire. He and Shatterbreath need more kingdoms on their side. But it seems time is against them. The BlackHound Empire looms over the horizon; any day they will arrive on the shores and the war will begin—with Vallenfend as the battlefield. Kael and his allies will have to use every resource they have to just survive. Unfortunately, the BlackHound Empire has tricks of its own.
