Mountain Woman Rides Again: A Kate McAlaster Adventure

The saga of Kate McAlaster continues with another adventure in the Great Northwest, in a time when mountain men roam the peaks and valleys. Renegade Indians are still a threat to the settlers finding homesteads following their perilous journey on the Oregon Trail. Kate and Man are thrown into a situation where they must put an end to Bull Blevins and his gang of cutthroat murderers. They have to depend on their brains, skills, and the pair of Walker Colt pistols on their hips. However, they are sidetracked by Chief United States Marshal Joe Meek of the Oregon Territory when mine wars erupt at Coeur d’Alene. They are ordered to stand between the gunmen hired by the Mine Owners Association and the deadly rifles of the Western Federation of Miners. Survival becomes the name of the game as they attempt to end the violence.
