Creature in the Patch

When Clarissa - along with her dog, Whiskers - sets out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a favorite summer vegetable from her garden, she has no idea of the surprise that awaits. What would cause the budding cook to find herself in an underground world of trolls, fairies, magic crystals, and threats? Will she be kidnapped and forced to be a serving maid for the ugly creatures. Whom can she trust? Who or what is the creature in the patch? Ages 8 and older. Great for adults, also.
