Kartik Trivedi- Artist of all Generations This is the story of Kartik Trivedi, the famous artist whose impressionist paintings are hanging in world famous galleries and accepted by Late President Ronald Regan, President Bill Clinton and French President Francoise Mitterand. One of his paintings of Lady Di’s wedding procession was accepted by the Queen and is hanging in the Buckingham Palace. He has presented paintings to the late Prime Ministers Mrs. Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi of India. Kartik Trivedi has a world record of getting four master’s degrees – one from India and three from prestigious Universities in the US. Kartik tells his life story in this book using his paintings. Due to space limitations, only 100 or so of his paintings could be included in this book. He names and identifies each painting so you can see and feel his thoughts behind each painting. For an art lover and especially a student of art this book is a must for your personal library. This could prove to be a very inspirational book for our young generation. Kartik Trivedi is also a fine music composer and pianist. He performed at the Carnegie Recital Hall in New York City, N.Y. and at Lincoln Center for performing Arts, New York City, N.Y. (1984). Kartik plays Indian Classical Raga music on the Piano. A rare achievement indeed! There is a swing of melody and melodic euphoria that haunts his pictorial compositions as a “Rhythmic formation”. Art students, Art collectors and professional painters would like to read this book and see his wonderful sense of composition in his paintings as well. Kartik Trivedi was born in India and came to America in 1967 for further studies in Art and Music. He received his MS in Art History form Case Western Reserve University. He taught art and music at various colleges and universities in the US. He started painting in water color and oil and soon his paintings of Indian decorative style caught on. Here in this book one can see some of his Indian style Decorative paintings. In America he was very fascinated by American Impressionist style paintings a style which he adopted for his Western paintings. This book is a combination of Eastern and Western style paintings. This is a rare combination. This approach/achievement makes this book a great book. People might like to buy this book and keep it in their library as a reference book. When Kartik Trivedi worked as an art instructor, his students used to ask him about a small size book of his paintings. After working for about 16 years as an art instructor in this country, Kartik always wanted to thank all of his art students, art teachers and art collectors. Of course the art critics too. In this book there is a story of one multi talented artist and his struggle to achieve something very valuable to him and the people around him He had a dream and with passion and dedication he has achieved it.
