Sansmaal is the centre of the universe, where life's good and evil live in harmony, keeping the world in balance, until one day the scales tip in favour of the evil. A story about Jack and his people, whose battle to restore balance in the world turns into a battle against the evils now running rampant: pride, envy, lust, gluttony, wrath, greed, sloth – dangerous, unforgiving. Jack is a loner; a troubled man with much to learn whose strength will be tested to the limit, and who must face his painful past before he fights the ultimate battle - only time is in short supply and it waits for no one. A fast-paced adventure, where a djinn, a witch, a reptile pet and a time-machine of sorts, along with a supersonic horse and a host of mythological characters, join the eighteen-year-olds as they turn on each other in a hostile land. A tale of love, hate, betrayal, forgiveness, struggle, courage, death, spirit, revenge.
