searching for the spirit: A World Cup journey through Europe by bike (Volume 1)

Two middle aged friends, tired of the indifference to the World Cup that exists in Canada, vow to experience the 2010 World Cup in Europe. Travelling by bike, first in south-west France, followed by the Black Forest region in Germany, and finishing in Holland for the last leg, their month long journey explores the regions passed as they seek out the ‘SPIRIT’ of the World Cup. While the days are not always as smooth as they would like, nor is the spirit present in all places, this is a humorous, yet insightful, look at parts of Europe as it celebrates this month long fiesta.
